Keno Tips

  1. The computer uses different algorithms to randomly pick numbers. Play your numbers in patterns instead of spreading them out all over.
  2. In playing Keno remember the payouts and try to keep your winnings below what you have to pay taxes on.
  3. Keep your numbers the same regardless of what you pick until you hit large on them. You will always come out ahead at least once. When you are, even if it is only by $1, cash out and do it again!
  4. Try playing the top 2 lines. Play 1,2,5,10,11 and 2 others of choice. Vary your choices and you will hit at least 5/7 and probably 7/7 within an hour.
  5. There is no combination of numbers that is more likely to win. Keno is a random game, and therefore the numbers that are drawn are completely random as well. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 is just as likely to come up as 6, 66, 44, 56, 68. Just because the first set of numbers are in sequence does not make them any less unique or random then the second set.
  6. When playing online Keno or online Video Keno get a feel for the game first. Each casino offers a slightly different perspective and as mentioned above it's virtually impossible to simulate the random generator used in online Keno games. Since online Keno games and casinos use different algorithms to generate a random draw, playing your numbers in patterns instead of spreading them out all over the game will sometimes work to your advantage and lead to more winnings.
  7. Keep your numbers similar regardless of what they are until you win or hit large with them. Most of the time you'll come out ahead. Since the game is random and your changes of pulling your combination is random, playing your numbers will give you the greatest odds in winning at online Keno.
  8. In roulette, there is a popular method of playing called 'Chase the Old Man'. This implies playing those numbers that seem to keep coming up, hoping that pattern will continue and lead to a win. The alternative, 'Let the Old Man Chase You', is the technique of playing numbers that have not come up yet, on the theory that those numbers will start appearing in order to even out the odds for every number coming up during the course of your game play. The reality of online Keno and many randomly generate games is the balls have no memory and have no way of knowing or dictating the next number to come up.
